Comic Book Page Creation

In this course, students will produce a single comic book page using multiple images and a simple storyline. Students will explore page layout and design while using the basic tools of the “Comic Life” web-based program.

Students are encouraged to have their parent or guardian download the 30-day free trial of “Comic Life” from www.plasq.com that best suits their hardware. Students can use their own images or the ones provided.

Youth Fashion Illustration

Over the 4 weeks we will be creating a mini collection and illustrating the designs. We will make mood boards for inspiration and motivation. We will hand illustrate our designs and put them in a presentation format on poster paper to show all family and friends.

Sketchbook Illustration

Never be intimidated by a blank sketchbook page again. Learn how to fill up a sketchbook and the importance of sketchbook journaling. Investigate different collage techniques, while trying different art mediums such as watercolor, paper collage, acrylic paint, and many other mixed media techniques. Create and express yourself through illustration!

Fantasy Art Camp

Fire-breathing dragons, fantastical fairies, and faraway lands await: enter the enchanted world of fantasy art camp! Campers ages 9 – 11 will craft colorful illustrations, 3D sculptures and more, discovering new creatures and friends – both real and make-believe!

Dive down deep and discover what lives under the sea – and in your imagination! Campers will study marine life through the creation of 3D sculptures, colorful illustrations, and many beautiful paintings. Campers grab your scuba gear and get ready for this ocean adventure week!
