Learn the basic weaving techniques used to make a broom, with natural broomcorn (sorghum) and organic handles. Leave with a completed project, maybe two. No experience is required for this project.

In this workshop, students will make a sturdy broom suitable for cleaning floors. They’ll learn how to stitch a broom flat and work with larger projects to build confidence.
To get the most out of this workshop, it’s recommended that participants first complete the introduction to broom-making course. Students can bring their own stick/handle or choose from a range of options provided.
