Playing in Mud Clay Camp

Discover the magic of clay through this fun, hands-on experience, designed for ages 7-9. Learn the science behind clay including clay stages and glazing, while also expressing individuality & creativity. We will learn essential clay-making processes such as pinching, slab making, and even experience the Potter’s Wheel!

Camp ticket includes a Baker Hunt T- Shirt. When checking out, list either youth or adult shirt, and the shirt size in the comments.

Youth Handbuilding

Explore the magic of clay as we create beautiful pieces of pottery, in a positive and creative atmosphere. This class focuses on the foundations of clay handling, technique development, glazing, and decorating.

Intermediate Handbuilding

Develop more advanced handbuilding techniques from previous handbuilding classes, to create both functional and sculptural work. Explore advanced pinching, coiling, slab making, and surface alteration to help create beautifully glazed and fired ceramic ware.

Beginner Handbuilding courses are preferred before registering for this class.
