Introduction to Drawing Landscapes
Wednesday, 6:30 pm
March 26th – May 14th | Ages 16-99+
Perfect for beginners and intermediate artists, this course offers both instruction and hands-on practice to build confidence and creativity in drawing natural environments.
This 8-week course is designed to help students develop their landscape drawing skills, from understanding basic composition and perspective to mastering shading, texture, and natural forms. Each week, students will explore different elements of landscape drawing with various mediums, including graphite, charcoal*, and colored pencil, with an emphasis on colored pencil during the final project.
By the end of the course, students will have a solid foundation in landscape art and will complete a final project that demonstrates their growth and understanding of the techniques learned throughout the class.
No makeup classes will be made available in the case of illness or inclement weather.
