Pokémon Evolution!

Paint and craft some of your favorite colorful Pokémon characters using a variety of media.  Invent some of your own powerful new Pokémon characters too! Gotta draw them all!

Each session of this class will include new projects.

No makeup classes will be made available in the case of illness or inclement weather

Comic Book Page Creation

In this course, students will produce a single comic book page using multiple images and a simple storyline. Students will explore page layout and design while using the basic tools of the “Comic Life” web-based program.

Students are encouraged to have their parent or guardian download the 30-day free trial of “Comic Life” from www.plasq.com that best suits their hardware. Students can use their own images or the ones provided.

A class for all Minecraft abilities! Find your inner artist and watch your ideas take shape as you build and explore the Minecraft world. This fun class will teach you how to draw using shapes as your template, making it a great way to learn how to draw inside and outside the classroom.

Let’s Begin Drawing

What is “looking”? Can you really see? How do you transfer what you see to what you are drawing? In this class, we will demonstrate the various techniques of drawing using the textbook Drawing on the right side of the brain. At the end of each class, students will share their work with the class and talk about the creative process from their point of view and their individual self-expression.
