Mini Chefs – Cooking Family Dinner

Kids Cook with Chef Jeri Kubicki and prepare dinner for their family! Mini-Chefs prepare scratch cheese shells with marinara sauce, and green bean salad! Kids make enough for a family of four to take home and share! Class is for youth ages 9-12.

Unicorns and Dragons!

Create a unique one-of-a-kind Unicorn or Dragon!  Learn to use tempera paint. Explore color, and talk about the creatures while adding your own creativity. One ticket is admission for the youth and the adult. There must be an adult with each student.

Roblox Character Art

Don’t be intimidated by a blank paper. Learn to draw your favorite Roblox characters. Investigate how to create an action-packed scene. Leave with a completed scene right out of your gaming screen. Choose your favorite medium – colored pencils or markers.

Paint a Gourd Birdhouse with Flowers

Come in and enjoy creating a work of art with the help of the instructor. Using acrylic paints, on a dried gourd, follow the creative process in order to complete your floral birdhouse.

Intro to Broom Making: Cobweb Broom

Make a cobweb broom in the traditional style, this lightweight broom is great for reaching cobwebs. These brooms are functional but make great decorative items, and great gifts! Learn the basic weaving techniques used to make a broom, with natural broomcorn (sorghum) and organic handles. Leave with a completed project, maybe two.   No experience is required for this project.

Derby Door Wreath

Come paint your Jockeys colors! Using acrylic paint on a custom cut board in the shape of a jersey you will receive step-by-step instructions on how to make your own cute jockey uniform. Choose the colors of your choice.

Broom Making 2: Besom Broom

In this workshop, students will make a sturdy broom suitable for cleaning floors. They’ll learn how to stitch a broom flat and work with larger projects to build confidence.

To get the most out of this workshop, it’s recommended that participants first complete the introduction to broom-making course. Students can bring their own stick/handle or choose from a range of options provided.
