2-Week Mini-Chef Challenge!

Join Chef Noel for this two-week class in Mystery Cooking! Kiddos will team up to prepare delicious (kid friendly) dinners with mystery ingredients while being guided by the chef! This class is a great way to get kids interested in cooking, and maybe even eating something new! Class is for ages 7-10.

Prep-3 in 60 Minutes

Join Chef Alex in prepping out 3 day’s worth of meals for a family of 4! You’ll receive a shopping list and recipes 1 week ahead of class, gather your own groceries before we “meet”, then you’ll cook along with Alex from your own kitchen!  Class requires that you have access to internet, and a device that you can have in your kitchen to watch/listen to instruction via Google-Meets. Class is for ages 16+, but feel free to have the kids help!

February Menu:  Sausage and Lentil Soup with Spinach; Bake-Later Caribbean Chicken Thighs with Mango Chutney; Cajun Jambalaya with Sausage and Shrimp; Grill and Chill Salmon Fillet for Salad with scratch dressing!

March Menu:  Chicken Posole Soup, Marinated Steak Tacos with Pickled Onions, Mexican Corn Salad, and Adobo Shrimp Skewers with Lime Rice!

Cooking for a Cause
Volunteer Meal-Making Class

This class is offered for $9, and 100% of the registration fee goes to buying groceries for this donated meal. Cook with the Baker Hunt Chefs and help us support the Emergency Shelter of NKY’s mission by providing dinner to their clients, while learning about cooking, knife skills, food safety, and more. Feel free to bring canned goods or other non-perishable items to add to the meal as appropriate. Volunteers must be 16+.

Please wear appropriate Kitchen attire (i.e., closed-toe shoes) and bring a hat or other hair covering.

Cooking for a Cause
Volunteer Soup-Making Class

This class is offered for $9, and the fee goes directly to La Soupe. Cook with the Baker Hunt Chefs and help us support La Soupe’s mission, while learning about soup making, knife skills, food safety, and more. “Meatless” Brunch

Join Chef Jeri Kubicki in preparing a meatless brunch! We will make maple sweetened banana muffins from scratch, prepare homemade meatless sausage, eggs any way and a refreshing fruit mocktail! Class is for ages 21+

Join Chef Jeri Kubicki for an afternoon of spice! You will learn how to make delish northern Indian Achari Paneer “pizza”- great for serving a crowd or for a family dinner.  Served with a kachumber side salad and refreshing mango lassi! This class is for ages 16+

Join Chef Rebecca Bryant on a tour through Greek Pastries! Enjoy preparing Kourabiedes (Greek powdered sugar shortbreads), Baklava (the classic honey and phyllo dough dessert), and Koulourakia (Greek Easter Cookies). Class is for students ages 16+. You will be paired with another student.
