Bibimbap Masterclass

Join Chef Andrew Alcid in learning the secrets to Korean Bibimbap and Scallion Pancakes!  You’ll learn how to use a stone bowl, and get to take the stone bowl with you for making Bibimbap at home! Vegan substitutions can be made – just let us know!

Tamales! From Start to Finish

Art Refresher Bootcamp

Explore different art mediums with a new instructor each week. Emily Stamm will teach Beginner Drawing, Stephanie Barker will show you Beginner Acrylic, Gabrielle Siekman will guide you through Beginner Oil, and lastly, Sarah Rocheleau will instruct Beginner Watercolors.  Join us for this one-of-a-kind class.

Beginner Stained Glass

Explore the tools, strategies, and techniques used to cut and grind glass into your own custom designs. Foil, solder, and patina to finish your piece. This class is set up as a beginner class or a refresher class. No glass working experience is needed.

This class is construction based; hand strength and dexterity are required.

Colored Pencil & Mixed Media

Explore a variety of techniques in colored pencil, ink, and mixed media. Through class projects, demonstrations, and individual instruction, the instructor will help students build on their skills, strengths, and interests with an emphasis on helping each student develop their own individual style.

Students will have the option of working on class projects or working independently on projects of their own choice.

  • Colored Pencils  (Any brand, recommend at least the 36 pack of Prismacolors with an additional henna, cool and warm greys, and colorless blender)
  • Bristol drawing paper  (smooth or vellum)
  • #2 pencil
  • Kneadable eraser
  • Micron or other brand pigma pens sizes: 005, 01 and 02
  • Portable pencil sharpener (battery preferred)
  • 12 inch ruler
  • Round stencil brushes
  • Turpenoid or solvent and q-tips

Open Studio (Watercolor, Pastel, Acrylic)

Explore the medium of your choice in this 8-week open studio class. Students will be given individual attention on the subject of their choosing. Familiarity with the medium is required and no demonstrations will be given during this class.

Beginner Wheel Throwing

Learn to create and glaze functional, decorative, and sculptural forms using a pottery wheel. Focus on developing your understanding of how to operate a potters wheel, while you learn to create the three basic wheel-thrown forms: cylinders/cups, bowls, and vases.

Beginner Handbuilding

Learn the uniquely expressive qualities of clay to create pottery and sculptures.  Develop various hand-building techniques including pinching, coiling and slab-making.  Create beautifully glazed and fired ceramic ware.

Open Studio Oil Painting

Looking for more studio time to work on your oil paintings? Incorporate feedback into your artwork, including color mixing, brush techniques, and drawing.  Students of all levels are welcome in this open-studio class.
